We want the children of First Pres to have a deeply rooted confidence in the character of God so they passionately follow Him through good and bad times. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God.
There are classes available during each of the Sunday Morning hours (9,10,11). Each of our classes uses The Gospel Project curriculum to work through the Bible chronologically.
- Nursery for ages 0-3
- Sunday school for K-5th*
*Some classes are combined for the first service.
During the 10:00 hour, students meet downstairs to sing together before being dismissed to their classes by grade.
If you have any questions on Sunday morning, look for someone with an “FP” tag around their neck and they’ll point you in the right direction.
Our boys club is a fellowship program for boys in the first through twelfth grades. 2016 is the first year that we have expanded the program beyond the 5th grade.
The boys are encouraged and educated in the fundamentals of the gospel through a structured curriculum. The program’s main goal is to develop trusting relationships between men and boys within the Body of Christ. This program also acts as an outreach to young men of single parents. Through relationships and interaction with men of faith, our young men will develop a faith in Christ, which is both enriching to the individual and fruitful in the world.
Pioneer Girls is a Christ-centered club, for 1st-12th graders, where “girls can be girls” while learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our emphasis is Bible teaching while incorporating tons of fun activities.
The program runs each year from September-April.
Contact Desiree for more information.
Each June, our kids meet each morning for a week to sing, watch skits, play games, do crafts, and most importantly, learn about Jesus! Every year is a blast and we hope that you will join us. Click the button below to learn more about this year’s program.
Our summer camp is one of the most exciting things that we do each year. We have a lot of fun playing games, doing crafts, swimming, hiking, and much more. But most importantly, we spend time learning from and memorizing scripture. We have times of devotions and worship. Students and adult volunteers alike return from camp have been encouraged and challenged in their faith. Camp is for grades 4-12, activities vary based on grades.
